First, Mad Max enjoying spring freedom:

Then some apple Blossoms...

And more apple blossoms...

And finally, one little tulip, days past its prime:

I know it's hard to see but I sorta like the mix between the green and yellows in it so I thought I'd share it anyway.
I hope the weekend is going well for all and that your weather is a tad bit warmer than mine!

We had an apple tree in our backyard when I was a little girl. Your photos make me miss the blossoms. Aren't they beautiful? I like the yellow and green in the tulip shot as well. Spring is a great season, especially when it's not hot like in August!

I love them. My apple tree is so old that I'm never sure from year to year if it'll blossom or not. And after all the late frost we've had, I thought for sure I'd miss out this year. The old thing surprised me, however. I'm very glad.
Do you like sour green apples?

Those apple blossoms are gorgeous! Does your tree put out apples? I would absolutely love to have an apple tree....those don't grow too well down here in the south :p

As I was telling Bellezza - it's a tempremental old thing so it depends. If the weather straightens up I'll probably end up with a mess of sour green ones.

Very pretty pics :)
The apple blossoms are gorgeous and it looks like Mad Max is having a great time frollicking. Glad spring is finally on its way--hope it kicks that winter's butt into next year!

Thanks!

Today would be beautiful... if it weren't for the 35 mph wind gusts! At least the forecast for the next 10 days in relatively rain free. Not overly warm, but I'll take it if it doesn't rain!

I think Mad Max likes it outside!.. I had an apple tree in the yard when my kids were very young and I just loved the blossoms ! They are just so pretty.

Oh, he truly does. He was out all last night and was a bit disgruntled this morning - it was pouring when I got up. Poor ol' boy.
Apple blossoms are amazing but if it doesn't warm up, I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever get lilacs!
