Oh! I almost forgot...
Our annual snowman burning took place last Friday...
The woman in the top photo setting Frosty aflame has worked for the university for 50 years and is finally retiring. Can't imagine what we'll do without her!
I love that photo! Sadly, we had snow again yesterday, so it's too soon for us up here in Canada. Maybe by the end of April it will be safe to burn Snowman :-)
Thanks! The snowman burning is a tradition at the university where I work going back 41 years. It's normally done on the first day of spring but since that was Sunday, they lit the guy on Friday... and we got snow over the weekend. Ah, well. I take comfort in knowing tht at this time of year, it won't last.

Fun!! We are still getting flurries, and you can't rule a storm out, but hopefully spring will be here soon!
