"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of Library." - Jorge Luis Borges (1890-1996)

Ever have one of those days?
Well, today is one of them for me.
Actually it's the second or third in a row.
Nothing works right. Nothing fits right, and I'm not talking clothes. Everything irritates the hell out of me.
I ran into a hassle trying to get my taxes filed.
I had to FILE my taxes in the first place.
Facebook is trying to drive me crazy with all its insane glitches.
I can't find the things I want or, if I do find them, they don't work.
It's gotten cold again.
So cold, in fact, that there's a chance of freakin' SNOW tomorrow!
They changed IE, which I liked and had set up to my preferences, to something I hate with a passion.
Mozilla, which I switched to keeps telling me that my page is unavailable... until I refresh it and it's there.
Anyway, you get the point.
It's all little stuff (like my misspelling 'little' three times just now) and it will pass.
The sun will come out. I know that. But for tonight...
All I can do is hope no one does anything really stupid while I'm at work. It won't be pretty.
Other stuff:
I'm five reviews behind, all of which I want to do. I'll try to get to them this weekend. If it snows tomorrow, I can't very well rake my backyard, which desperately needs it. It's good to have alternative plans.
I have a bunch of books I want NOW but they haven't been released yet. The one I'm waiting for most anxiously is "The President's Vampire", the sequel to "Blood Oath", which I loved.
Finally, a question:
To all you Kindle users out there: Any tips for a new owner? No, not me. My sister. I'll pass them along.
Have a great, warm weekend!

I'm sorry to hear you've been having a few of *those* days. I've definitely been there on occasion!
I'm *6* reviews behind (1 less than I was when I woke up this morning) and hoping this rotten weather (just rain here, though) will encourage me to dig out of the backlog.
Hope things start going right again for you soon!
Does anyone NOT have those days? If they do, I don't believe them.
I'm sorry you're having such a rotten day--seems that when so many things go wrong it just continues down that path snowball effect. Hope the sun comes out soon!
No tips for the Kindle. Love seeing people reading on them (because they're reading), but I don't think I'll give up my paper for a while.
Sorry things aren't going so well!
You might try Google Chrome... I used to swear by Mozilla, but it started getting buggy and I got annoyed, so I switched for the third time. Knock on wood, but so far Google Chrome works pretty well and I have had it a year or so.
Megan -
I'm half convinced that 'those' days aren't sort of a self-fulfilling prophesy. I normally don't give in to them but bah. Sometimes you need to, I think.
Trish -
Yup, as I said to Megan; they're self-fulfilling. I'll give myself today to be a grump and then I'll get over it.
I agree about the Kindle. If it helps more people read, I'm all for it. But now that I've held one, I don't know. They seem so fragile. I think it'll suit my sister well, however.
Kailana -
You're about the 10th person that's told me to move on to Chrome. I guess I should give it a try.
I know technology has to evolve but there are definitely times when I wish they'd leave things alone.

Oh, dear! I hope by now you've had a long, tall glass of Coke (or two!) and that things are going better for you. These kind of days are awful! Sorry I can't help you with Kindle, I'm a Nook owner myself. Happy Easter, and many blessings, CJ. XOXO
Bellezza -
I'm over the mood, for the most part. The idiots I work with are really trying my patience at the moment but I'll survive.
And, I had a glass last night and it was wonderful! How much have you read today or have you been too busy?
