This is one of the few times I'll break my restriction against posting political news/comments here.
Osama bin Laden is dead.
Justice is served.
Finally.
My thanks, thoughts, and prayers are now with the United States Military. May God bless and keep you all.

It is good that one of the terrorists who so hated us can terrorize us no longer. Now I'm only concerned that someone else will quickly fill his place.
I spoke to my class about the attack on 9/11 as they were asking about bin Laden. Can you imagine that they weren't even born then?! Goodness, I feel old some days.
Now, a sticky situation I feel in one of my book clubs is the antagonism people feel toward Sarah Palin. They actually admire Tina Fey for mocking her. It's horrible to me, enough to mar a friendship, because our ideals are so opposite. But, that's a whole other topic for another day. XOXO

It must be hard dealing with young kids because there's so much they haven't been around for.
Governor Palin is one of the most misrepresented, misunderstood people out there. I hear people say things about her that are blatantly false, both on line and in real life and I generally call them on it. Politely, of course.
