So...

It's my birthday.

I am officially now 52.

Funny, doesn't feel any different than 51 did.

The one thing that is different, is the fact that I'm pondering pulling the plug here. I haven't posted since the beginning of May and I've got to admit, I don't miss it. I occasionally think I should get some reviews done but I find myself thinking about it more out of guilt than desire.

So, after four years I may be done.

I've done what I set out to do.

I've met some great people.

But...

One question, for anyone that wants to answer it -

If I do decide to pull the plug, do I leave the blog up or delete it?

Thanks for everything, you guys. It's been a fun four years.

Happy birthday, CJ! I hope you have a great day!

I will miss you if you do go, but I understand where you are coming from. It doesn't feel like four years! I remember when you hit that one year mark like it was yesterday. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best. I have enjoyed getting to know you through your blog. And I truly appreciate all of the encouragement and support you have given me over the years. Thank you.

Happy Birthday!

I have seen a few bloggers pulling the plug on blogging. It's sad, but it is the course of things. Many bloggers I met in the beginning of my own blog no longer blog. I just get sad because you start to lose track of the people. I hope that if you do decide to pull the plug you stay in touch!

Happy Birthday!!! I hope it's a special day, even if 52 does feel like 51.

In terms of the blog, I'm not sure. Either way I'm glad I'll still be able to connect with you a bit on Facebook...even though I don't get on terribly often.

Have a wonderful wonderful day! Hugs...

Happy belated birthday!

I feel the same way about blogging. When I step away, I don't miss it at all (except for the chatting with like-minded souls). But, I do keep returning because I no longer write fiction much and I have to write *something* or I'll burst. Mine is more like a diary than just a book blog, so I can't imagine deleting the content completely. I don't write those stories down, anywhere else - the anecdotes, that is, about cats and kids and travels. I probably should.

I kind of hope you'll stick around but at least I know where to find you if you don't!

belated Happy Birthday CJ! I hope it was a good one!

I do think the computer fills a void for most people..it could even be a void they don't realize they have..but then when they no longer need it.. they move on.. I would leave the blog up and maybe pop in now and then and just update us all as to how you are and whats new ?.. either way it's been good meeting you!

Thanks, one and all, who took the time to respond. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. If I do decide I'm done book blogging, I'll post something saying so. I may, like some have suggested, keep it 'current' in order to post updates...

And, regardless of what I decide to do, I'm not going away. I'll be around, maybe lurking for the most part, but around.

Thanks, everyone.
